In late 2012, EP Aeration and Air Diffusion Systems (ADS) collaborated with Wallace Group to update Chamisal’s antiquated wastewater treatment system with ADS fine-bubble aeration. The ADS system is nearly five times more energy efficient than their previous surface aerators and allowed Chamisal to increase production from 30,000 cases to 100,000 cases without enlarging the treatment lagoon. Since the installation, the ADS system has been odorless and consistently met waste discharge requirements.
